San Antonio Tree Pros Partners with Local Environmental Education Center to Create Tree-Based Curriculum for Schools

The partnership seeks to expand students’ knowledge of trees, their importance to the environment, and how to properly care for them.
The curriculum will be piloted at select elementary and middle schools in San Antonio this upcoming school year before being rolled out to other districts. It will allow students to learn about tree anatomy, its environmental benefits, and how to preserve them. Students will also gain hands-on experience planting trees and caring for those already planted on school grounds.
