The launch of this plan involves certain proactive steps to curb the spread of the pandemic. Their current plan is to keep our facilities open by implementing precautionary measures and utilizing CDC-recommended prevention steps.
The offices remain open, but to ensure a safe environment for both customers and employees through the crisis, they have introduced a process that allows them to follow social distancing guidelines.
The process is designed to reduce person-to-person contact as much as possible. Their employees will help customers with their storage needs by staying in the office and communicating with them over the phone, text, and email.
They are increasing the frequency of regularly scheduled cleaning and sanitation efforts and making sure all employees take precautionary health measures, including frequent hand washing and staying home when sick. All stores are being provided with additional hand sanitizer and disinfectant supplies.
Additional hand washing and sanitizing of offices has been in place for the past weeks and will continue. They have also implemented several new policies for their employees. Measures include frequent hand washing and staying home if feeling ill.
Finally, they are offering 24 Hour contact-free access. Since there is no real need to be in direct one-on-one contact with staff they have restricted contact to phone calls.
The company has locations throughout Westchester County and is one of the fastest-growing companies in New York. They have entered their third decade in business and feature cedar closet units, energy-efficient motion sensor lighting, and climate control.
Corporate headquarters is in Tarrytown but they also have a large network of locations including Armonk, Bedford, Briarcliff Manor, Chappaqua Milwood, Cortlandt, Croton-On-Hudson, Katonah, Lewisboro Poundridge, Mahopac, Mohegan Lake, Mount Kisco, Ossining, Peekskill, Pleasantville Thornwood, Sommers Croton Falls, and Yorktown.
Ben Shapiro a recent tenant stated, “Excellent service. I was extremely worried about moving into a smaller apartment but they helped me find the unit that best fits all of my ski equipment!”
