Chicago, United States - April 5, 2018 /PressCable/ —
On April 17th in San Francisco, SVA Value Accelerators, BNY Mellon, Nixon Peabody, and KPMG are hosting a VIP Forum for Food and Beverage company founders and executives.
The theme of the event is “Are you a Home Run Owner?” and features a live conversation with Adam Firestone, co-founder of Firestone-Walker brewery. In 2015, Firestone-Walker sold to Belgian company Duvel Moortgat in a transaction rumored to be worth $250 million. Adam will share the story of how he achieved a “home run exit” despite knowing very little about how to build transferable value and prepare for an exit.
Sean Hutchinson, SVA Value Accelerators co-founder and partner, will interview Mr. Firestone and facilitate an informal fireside chat featuring recognized thought-leaders in their respective fields.
The expert panel includes Justin Miller, National Wealth Strategist for BNY Mellon; Louis Cisz, Partner at international law firm Nixon Peabody; and Robert Glowniak, Managing Director, KPMG Corporate Finance.
“This is a rare opportunity for Food and Beverage founders and executives to hear the “home run” story in first person,” says Mr. Hutchinson, “from an owner who struggled with, and overcame, many of the complex challenges of selling a business or raising capital. Adam is incredibly honest and open about his experiences. His practical advice is going to provide clarity and hope for fellow entrepreneurs.”
