Sevnica, Slovenia Winemaking Homestead With Cellar & Boutique Tourism Use Listed

Oct 30, 2026

M&N International Real Estate (+386 68 648 112) has listed a Sevnica vineyard homestead featuring an active wine cellar, approximately 3,000 vines connected to the Vinska klet Mastnjak story, and scope for boutique farm tourism alongside private residential use.

Coastal Region, Slovenia, October 30, 2026 /NewsNetwork/ -- A vineyard homestead just minutes from central Sevnica has come to market through M&N International Real Estate, offering buyers a combination of private living space, established vines, and infrastructure for continued winemaking. Set across approximately 6,000 m², the property includes a 325 m² residence and around 3,000 vines associated with the long-running wine story of Vinska klet Mastnjak.

More details can be found at https://www.man-ire.com/immobiliendetails.xhtml?id[obj0]=1747

The listing comes as activity continues to strengthen across Slovenia’s residential property market. Slovenia’s Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Slovenia reported that residential transactions in the first half of 2026 increased by 3% compared with the second half of 2025, following a near-30% surge in transactions in the first half of 2025. Apartment prices in multi-family buildings rose 8% over the previous six months, while house prices increased by 4%, with the authority noting that prices reached new record highs.

M&N International Real Estate notes that for buyers interested in continuing the property’s existing character, the vineyard represents more than landscaping. The vines have contributed to the Vinska klet Mastnjak wine story for more than three decades, while the estate includes a cellar with barrels and the infrastructure needed to continue winemaking activity.

The residential portion is arranged as two connected living units, creating separation between spaces while keeping the homestead unified. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, additional toilets, terraces, and outdoor gathering areas make the property adaptable to permanent living, guest accommodation, or smaller-scale hospitality use.

That flexibility also gives prospective buyers scope to build a tourism-oriented use around the property as visitor demand increasingly reaches beyond Slovenia’s best-known destinations. According to the Slovenian Tourist Board, the country recorded approximately 7 million arrivals and 17.9 million overnight stays in 2025, the highest figures in the country’s history. Several smaller and medium-sized destinations recorded the strongest growth in overnight stays that year.

M&N International Real Estate said the vineyard setting and outdoor areas could suit buyers considering boutique farm tourism, wine tastings, or food-and-wine experiences alongside private residential use. Several terraces and covered social spaces overlook the surrounding valley, giving the property scope for both private living and guest-facing activity.

M&N International Real Estate said the opportunity is less about acquiring a conventional rural home and more about taking over an established setting that can remain a private residence, continue its wine-growing tradition, or support a small hospitality concept.

How a Democratic-controlled Congress could reshape US policy on China

A Democratic takeover of either chamber of the US Congress could bring tougher scrutiny of President Donald Trump’s dealings with Beijing, even as lawmakers are likely to maintain a broadly hawkish stance towards China, analysts said. A change in control could shift the emphasis of congressional oversight, with the Democratic Party seeking greater accountability for the administration’s China policy after Trump’s Republican Party largely gave him room to manoeuvre, said Sarah Trister, a former...
