Railroad Software, a leading provider of software solutions for the railroad industry, today announced the addition of new track geometry and configuration management features to its TrackAsset software platform. The new features provide railroads with more comprehensive and accurate data for improved safety and efficiency.
The new track geometry features include the ability to collect and store data on track alignment, curvature, and cross-level. This data can be used to identify potential safety hazards, such as track defects or misalignments. The new configuration management features allow railroads to track the location and condition of all assets on their network, including track, signals, and switches. This data can be used to plan and schedule maintenance activities, as well as to identify potential bottlenecks or disruptions.
“The new track geometry and configuration management features in TrackAsset provide railroads with a more comprehensive view of their infrastructure,” said Jeff Birmingham, CEO of Railroad Software. “This data can be used to improve safety, efficiency, and asset management.”
The new features are available now as part of the latest release of TrackAsset. For more information, please visit www.railroadsoftware.com
