Sep 16, 2021
Pipette.com provides industry-standard and customized liquid-handling solutions tailored for each of their lab customers. Pipette.com has now become one of the largest independent pipette calibration facilities on the West Coast. In addition, Pipette.com has become one of the largest distributors of several manufacturers of pipettes, pipette tips and lab equipment.
Pipette.com is an ISO 17025 Accredited Calibration Facility that calibrates and repairs all pipette brands and models. Pipette.com provides pipette verification and preventative maintenance. Pipettes undergo a leakage test, functional test, and calibration check, performed with 4x2 weighings. For preventative maintenance, each pipette is completely dissembled, cleaned inside and out, pistons are polished and re-greased, and seals and/or o-rings are replaced as needed (as specified by the manufacturer, make, and model) then reassembled. Parts that can wear out are proactively replaced.
Pipette.com manages their pipette calibration services through Qualer's Calibration Management Software. This innovative software ensures total compliance and audit readiness by managing all of a company's lab assets on one easy-to-use dashboard. With Qualer's Calibration Management Software, a lab manager can coordinate their schedules with their clients, allowing both parties to view appointment information and estimated time of completion.
Lastly, Pipette.com has added several pipette tips. Pipette tips are used with pipettes and pipettors to speed processing and reduce cross-contamination. They are available in a variety of materials and styles. Popular pipette styles used are: universal pipette tips, filter pipette tips and low retention pipette tips. Pipette.com offers a wide variety of first-party and third-party pipette tips engineered for accuracy and compatible with most laboratory pipettes. Pipette.com has added new Oxford Benchmate Tips. These low-retention filter pipette tips are engineered to dispense liquid in a precise and repeatable manner to ensure that you are measuring the exact amount of solution with each and every tip.
