Pigment Paint Workshop Offering Cabinet Painting and More Updates Website
Jul 6, 2021
July 06, 2021 - /PressAdvantage/ - Pigment Paint Workshop, a company based in Charlottesville, VA, is pleased to announce that they have recently updated their website, which was rebuilt from the ground up. The goal is to offer Charlottesville area customers a better experience when they access the website when they need furniture painting or cabinet painting services, including those who want to buy painting supplies.
The company customizes and re-fabs cabinets, decor, and furniture in the home and yard. They offer top notch cabinet and painting process for residents of the greater Charlottesville area, using their own professional-grade, custom spray-booth.
Charles Davis, a spokesperson for Pigment Paint Workshop, says, “Our staff are happy to assist you in selecting anything from a single color and finish for a piece of furniture or for an entire home; inside and out. We offer specialty finishes like antique ‘faux’ and other artistic touches, as well as clear, water-based lacquer top coats in gloss, satin or matte.”
Pigment Paint Workshop’s professional finishing shop is situated just a half of a mile east of the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville. The shop has more than 2,500 square feet of work space and contains a fully-enclosed professional spray booth, artistic finishes studio, and dedicated prep room.
They specialize in cabinet re-paints for bathrooms, kitchens, and more. From finishing solid wood to laminate and already painted surfaces to new builds, they can offer a personalized approach in their painting process to help refresh a particular space in a home. They utilize sophisticated finishing products to increase property value, reduce environmental impact, and improve durability. The cabinet finishes that they can provide range from ‘chalk finish’, matte to high gloss ‘lacquer’. The also offer custom artistic finishes, for instance: glaze, strié/dragged brush, faux bois, antiqued/distressed, wash effects, and many more.
Before providing their cabinet refinishing service for the kitchen or bathroom, they will first offer a free estimate. Those who are interested in getting such an estimate can request for it using an online form on their website. Upon receiving such an inquiry, they will schedule a visit to the home of the client and discuss the project in person or they will request for pictures of the cabinets. After a few days, they will provide an estimate and an overview of their approach for that particular project. This includes: custom color selection, an estimate of how long everything will take, and suggested materials. From there, they can provide samples, if desired. And they can discuss the scheduling needs of the client.
Next, they will send their experienced and conscientious team to the home of the client to start prepping, including the removal of the doors and drawer fronts, which they will professionally finish in their paint shop. Once their team has finished the prep and priming, they will then proceed to paint the cabinets in place. They will use low-odor, low to no V.O.C. acrylic finishing products. And if the project requires a specialty paint or other finish, they will discuss the various details with the client.
Pigment Paint Workshop also provides furniture finishing and decor services for homeowners in Charlottesville and neighboring areas. In their shop, they also have a completely-enclosed, down-draft spray booth to provide premium, specialty finishes for furniture. From ultra-matte chalk paint to high gloss lacquer effects, the company’s professional team is equipped to offer personalized, professional finishes for any furniture in the home or even on the patio.
Their shop is climate controlled and they are able to speed up initial drying times and control longer cure times. This implies that they can work fast and efficiently without compromising the performance of the material and the quality of the service they provide. By finishing most of the components in their shop, they are able to minimize the disruption to the lifestyle of the customer to achieve maximum performance from the finishing products themselves. They can paint on various kinds of furniture materials, including: raw wood, laminate, polyurethane, veneer, powder coating, metal, backed-on enamel, formica, and stained wood.
Those who are in need of furniture and cabinet painting in Charlottesville and surrounding areas can check out the Pigment Paint Workshop website, or contact them on the telephone or through email. They are open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, from Monday to Wednesday; and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, on Thursdays and Fridays.
