Roxbury, United States - January 15, 2023 /PressCable/ —
The center’s latest course will begin on February 25, 2023, led by head instructor Matt Giordano. The 200-hour instructional program is designed to help practitioners deepen their personal practice, and learn how to teach others.

A variety of topics will be covered during TheYogiMatt’s upcoming course, including alignment, technique, anatomy, yoga philosophy, and meditative techniques. The program is recognized by the Yoga Alliance, and attendees have an opportunity to register as certified 200-hour yoga teachers upon successful completion.
Originating in India in the 5th century B.C., yoga has grown to become one of the most popular forms of meditation and exercise in the US over the last 20 years. The International Yoga Federation estimates that there are now approximately 300 million yoga practitioners worldwide. Social distancing policies during the pandemic have also seen Internet-based yoga instruction grow in popularity.
Specializing in online classes, TheYogiMatt’s latest teacher training program was developed to improve the range of services available. It offers a flexible schedule, allowing trainees to learn at a rate that meets their own availability and skill level. One of the best perks of this training is that each student is assigned a personal mentor for maximum support.
Along with skill development, the upcoming courses also offer instruction in areas that are specific to teaching. These include sequencing, use of voice, adjustments, visual demonstration, and posture analysis. Ongoing assessments are designed to reinforce what students have learned throughout the program.
About TheYogiMatt
Founded by international yoga instructor Matt Giordano, TheYogiMatt aims to share the yogi practice with a greater audience via modern technologies. Along with 200-hour courses, the center offers 300-hour teacher training, as well as a range of yoga immersion programs for newcomers. Completion of both the 200-hour and 300-hour courses also offers eligibility for 500-hour teacher certification.
One course attendee recently stated: “The training was far more comprehensive than any in-person training I could have taken. This course has vastly increased my skill set in many areas, including anatomy, sequencing, voice, philosophy, meditation, pranayama, and business. The caliber of teachers graduating from Matt’s online training is incredible.”

China’s ‘golden week’ holidays come at a cost
For iPhone users in China, the calendar has long presented a small but recurring problem. On a Sunday designated as a make-up workday, an alarm might remain silent. On a regular Friday converted into a day off, it might ring anyway. Nearly 17 years after entering the Chinese market, Apple quietly updated its operating system in September to automatically recognise China’s official schedule of adjusted holidays and workdays. The fix is modest, but it points to a larger question: what happens when...

How land power could help US forces counter China in the Indo-Pacific
Senior US commanders have highlighted the importance of land-based troops and equipment stationed in the Asia-Pacific in any conflict with China, countering assumptions that such a war would be fought mainly at sea and in the air. General Ron Clark, commander of US Army Pacific, said the “tyranny of distance” made it difficult to rely on air and naval forces during a panel discussion at the Association of the United States Army’s annual meeting this week. The comments reflect mounting concerns...
