Norwalk, Connecticut Oct 31, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - "Put the Critic in the Coffin" is the new single by Punk-Americana songwriter Vicki F released by Pilot Light Records. The label, dedicated to emerging independent recording artists, is a subsidiary of Factory Underground LLC of Norwalk, CT.
Vicki F, who hails from the late 70's - early 80's CBGB punk scene, as well as the punk scene that was centered on Ron's Place in New Haven, CT, draws on diverse influences such as Patti Smith, Eddie Vedder, and Lou Reed. Her arrangements are more stripped down than her early music, but there is no missing the original fire and punk rock spirit that gave her music breath from the very beginning.
'Put the Critic in the Coffin" was recorded at Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk, CT, and produced by Ethan Isaac, best known for his vocal work with the rock band Edisun. "Put the Critic in the Coffin" is now streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, and all major streaming outlets.
