Colorado Springs,United States - December 12, 2022 /PressCable/ —

Bid Global’s new series of auctions are open to both private and commercial buyers. The firm expects the events to draw significant interest from the custom jewelry market, owing to the competitive pricing that can be achieved. Diamonds now offered suit a variety of purposes, such as bespoke bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and wedding or engagement rings.
Following mining, rough diamonds are sold to a select number of specialized diamond-cutting companies around the world. Newly cut diamonds are then sent for grading prior to making their way into the supply chain. The diamonds found in completed jewelry pieces have often passed through several stages of ownership, adding to the price.
Bid Global maintains exclusive agreements with several leading diamond cutters, and the stones now listed come directly from grading at the GIA. As a result, buyers have an opportunity to purchase diamonds at one of the earliest stages in the supply chain, eliminating many of the additional costs.
Along with the GIA, Bid Global also has diamonds graded by the Accredited Gemological Institute of New York (AGI), in an effort to provide buyers with additional assurance. All stones have a laser-inscribed GIA grading number, as well as accompanying documents from both organizations.

When a star like our sun grows old, it puffs up into a red giant that can gobble up its nearest planets. But Chinese astronomers say they have found three solar systems where planets should have been eaten this way yet somehow survived – a puzzle that could change how scientists picture Earth’s distant future. Using Nasa’s TESS space telescope, a team led by Qian Shengbang from Yunnan University showed that three Jupiter-like planets – each hugging an ageing star in the northern sky – had lived...
