Essential spending sustains demand even amidst crises
According to Koga, Brazilian consumer behavior helps explain the performance of sectors like e-commerce and healthcare, even during periods of significant pressure on purchasing power. This is a market where we've seen growth, crisis or no crisis. The same goes for the pharmaceutical market: it grows regardless of the economic climate because people keep buying medicines and personal care products, the executive explains.

Modern Logistics confirms operations for international concerts
Modern Logistics confirms two new operations to support concerts by international bands in Brazil, carried out in partnership with Rock-it Cargo, a specialty logistics provider to large-scale international events.
The first of these will be the company international flights, bound for Lima, Peru and Santiago, Chile--scheduled to take off at 2:00 PM on September 14, 2026. These flights will be Modern Logistics' first ever international operations with its 737-800 freighters and spearhead the company's international expansion strategy to expand in the Americas.
The flight will transport 8 tons of equipment for an international band whose name cannot yet be disclosed. The operation will be accompanied by a representative from the band. All flights will use Modern Logistics' technologically advanced737-800 NG aircraft which can accommodate more cargo than its predecessor models.
A domestic flight on September 14, 2026 will originate at Viracopos with stops in Salvador and Rio de Janeiro.
The second confirmed operation supports the Maroon 5 tour in Brazil. For this leg, Modern Logistics will lease an additional Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft to transport 11 tons of the band musical equipment between tour cities.
Each flight will carry a representative responsible for the band equipment and another responsible for show operations. This procedure covers the band performances in three cities scheduled for coming weeks.
Going forward, Modern Logistics will expand its 737-800 fleet, depending on demand and consistent with the company's current expansion strategy.
