New Meta META Reseller Status, Expanding Consumer Demand and Emerging Applications Across Humanoid Robotics, Military Training and Healthcare Position Virtuix $VTIX at the Intersection of Immersive Technology and Next-Generation Innovation

AUSTIN, Texas - Oct. 13, 2026 - PRLog -- Virtuix Holdings Inc. (N A S D A Q: VTIX) $VTIX is advancing its commercial strategy with a series of developments that highlight the versatility of its full-body virtual reality technology. In its October 13, 2026 announcement, the company revealed that it has become an official reseller of Meta products, expanding its relationship with Meta Platforms and introducing new bundles that combine its Omni One full-body virtual reality gaming system with Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets and accessories.

The announcement arrives as Virtuix reports that Omni One orders have increased approximately threefold compared with the same period last year following the June launch of Omni One for Quest. With the holiday shopping season approaching, an expanding game library and growing consumer interest, Virtuix is working to strengthen its position in the immersive entertainment market while developing opportunities across several additional industries.

For investors following emerging technology companies, VTIX offers an intriguing story built around a distinctive technology platform with applications extending well beyond traditional gaming.

Today's Major News: Virtuix Becomes an Official $META Reseller

Virtuix's latest announcement marks an important commercial milestone in its relationship with Meta. The company is now an official reseller of Meta products and has introduced bundled offerings that allow customers to purchase Omni One for Quest alongside Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets and accessories directly through Virtuix.

Virtuix is also featured on Meta's Made for Meta partner website, increasing its visibility within the Quest ecosystem.

The timing is particularly interesting. As consumers prepare for the holiday shopping season, immersive gaming systems offer an opportunity to experience video games through physical movement rather than relying exclusively on traditional controllers.

By combining the headset and movement system into convenient bundles, Virtuix can provide customers with a more streamlined purchasing experience while introducing its technology to a wider audience.

The company's October 13 announcement highlights several encouraging developments:
  • Official Meta reseller status, expanding Virtuix's direct consumer sales opportunities.
  • New Omni One bundles featuring Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets and accessories.
  • An expanding gaming ecosystem, with more than 75 Quest games compatible or expected to become compatible with Omni One.
  • Broad PC VR compatibility, with more than 100 compatible games across Virtuix's wider gaming ecosystem.
  • Strong reported customer satisfaction, with Omni One carrying a 4.9-out-of-5-star customer rating.

The reported threefold increase in Omni One orders since the Quest launch adds another noteworthy dimension to the announcement. Continued adoption, particularly during the holiday season, could help Virtuix expand its consumer footprint and build greater awareness of its technology.

Beyond Gaming: A Technology Platform With Multiple Applications

Virtuix's longer-term opportunity centers on its ability to serve several markets through a common technological foundation.

The Omni platform enables users to walk, run, crouch and move in 360 degrees within virtual environments. This capability creates potential applications in immersive entertainment, military training, robotics research and healthcare.

Rather than depending on a single industry, Virtuix is developing a broader platform that can support different customers and use cases.

1. Consumer Gaming and the Meta Quest Ecosystem

The Meta relationship gives Virtuix an opportunity to reach consumers through an established virtual reality ecosystem.

The Omni One for Quest product combines full-body movement with immersive gaming, creating a more physically engaging experience. An expanding catalog of compatible games and convenient headset bundles could help introduce the system to customers who want to take virtual reality beyond stationary gameplay.

The holiday shopping season represents an important commercial opportunity as Virtuix works to build on its reported order growth and broaden consumer adoption.

2. Defense and Military Simulation

Virtuix is also developing its presence in defense and military simulation, where realistic virtual environments can support training and mission preparation.

The company has highlighted work involving all four major U.S. military branches. Its Virtual Terrain Walk technology is designed to allow personnel to explore digitally reconstructed terrain, while its broader simulation capabilities support immersive training scenarios.

Virtuix has also reported serving as lead systems integrator for the U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Fireteam Trainer and developing counter-drone training applications.

These initiatives demonstrate how full-body movement technology can extend beyond entertainment into specialized training environments. Additional deployments and broader adoption could create opportunities for equipment sales, software and related services.

3. Humanoid Robotics and Physical AI

One of Virtuix's most compelling emerging applications involves humanoid robotics and physical AI.

Human movement can provide a natural interface for controlling robotic systems and interacting with simulated environments. Virtuix's technology offers a platform for exploring these applications, potentially connecting human motion, virtual simulation and robotics development.

The company has disclosed repeat Omni One Enterprise orders from Tesla for its Optimus program, while Figure AI has also purchased an Omni One Enterprise system. Virtuix has separately announced its selection for NASA's Moon and Mars Exploration Analog mission.

These developments illustrate the breadth of interest in Virtuix's technology and its potential relevance to advanced robotics and simulation research.

As interest in humanoid robots and embodied AI continues to expand, investors will be watching how Virtuix develops these relationships and converts emerging applications into additional commercial opportunities.

4. Healthcare and Rehabilitation

Healthcare represents another avenue for Virtuix's technology.

In September 2026, the company announced its first Omni One system sales to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, with an initial deployment at the Detroit VA Medical Center for therapeutic applications.

Virtuix has also announced an autism therapy initiative involving the LP Foundation, Rutgers University and Sirica Therapeutics, with a multisite pilot planned to begin in January 2027.

These initiatives demonstrate the potential to adapt immersive movement technology to therapeutic environments and specialized patient needs. As the applications develop, further deployments could help Virtuix broaden its customer base beyond gaming and enterprise simulation.

Investor Events Bring Virtuix's Growth Strategy Into Focus

Virtuix is increasing its engagement with the investment community as it develops its commercial strategy.

CEO Jan Goetgeluk is scheduled to participate in the Maxim Growth Summit on October 13–14, 2026, in New York. The company plans to discuss its consumer growth, defense opportunities and broader commercial initiatives.

Virtuix has also announced plans to participate in the LD Micro 20th Annual Main Event on October 20–21 in Los Angeles, including an in-person presentation and live Omni One demonstrations.

These events provide opportunities for investors to learn more about the company's technology, commercial strategy and plans for expanding across multiple markets.

Live demonstrations are particularly relevant for a company whose product is best understood through direct experience. Showing how users move naturally through virtual environments can help communicate the distinction between Virtuix's platform and conventional VR gaming systems.

Financial Progress and the Opportunity Ahead

Virtuix's recent financial results provide additional context for its development.

For fiscal 2026, the company reported annual net sales of approximately $4.3 million, compared with $3.6 million in fiscal 2025. Gross profit improved to approximately $1.0 million from a gross loss of approximately $0.2 million, while gross margin increased to approximately 25%. Operating expenses declined by approximately 19% to $11.4 million.

For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, covering the three months ended June 30, 2026, Virtuix reported approximately $767,000 in revenue and $227,000 in gross profit. Gross margin reached approximately 30%, compared with approximately 17% in the prior-year quarter.

The improvement in gross margin is an important development as the company works to expand sales and improve the economics of its products.

Virtuix has also described production infrastructure capable of supporting up to 3,000 units monthly. At full utilization, the company estimates that this capacity could support more than $100 million in annual revenue potential. This represents a capacity-based scenario rather than current revenue, but it illustrates the potential scale of the company's manufacturing platform if demand develops accordingly.

For investors, the next milestones include sustained consumer order growth, expansion of enterprise deployments, broader adoption across defense and robotics, and continued progress in margins and operating performance.

The Investor Takeaway: Virtuix Is Building Across Multiple Growth Markets

Virtuix Holdings is developing a distinctive technology platform with potential applications spanning immersive entertainment, military training, humanoid robotics, AI simulation and healthcare.

Today's Meta reseller announcement adds a meaningful commercial milestone to that story. New consumer bundles, reported threefold Omni One order growth and an expanding compatible game library provide several developments to watch as the company enters the holiday selling season.

At the same time, its enterprise initiatives demonstrate how the same core technology may serve specialized customers beyond consumer gaming.

Key developments for investors to watch include:
  • Continued consumer adoption following the Meta reseller announcement.
  • Growth in Omni One sales and compatible gaming experiences.
  • Additional defense and military simulation deployments.
  • Further commercial activity involving humanoid robotics and physical AI.
  • Expansion of healthcare and therapeutic applications.
  • Progress in revenue growth, gross margins and production utilization.

Virtuix's opportunity lies in connecting a recognizable consumer product with a broader platform for immersive movement and simulation. If the company can continue expanding distribution, building customer relationships and translating its technology into sustained commercial demand, it could strengthen its position in several developing technology markets.

Bottom line: With its expanded Meta relationship, reported Omni One order momentum and growing applications across robotics, defense and healthcare, Virtuix Holdings $VTIX enters an important period in its commercial development. Its ability to turn these opportunities into lasting customer adoption and financial growth will be central to the company's next chapter.

Study links academic backgrounds to problem-solving pathways

A Sejong University professor has collaborated with a researcher at Finland’s Aalto University to examine how university students’ academic backgrounds relate to their problem-solving approaches. The researchers are Jang Hye-won, a professor at Sejong University’s Office of Educational Innovation, and Petter Holme, a professor of computer science at Aalto University. They analyzed 84 written solutions from a first-year physics course at Harvard University, systematically organizing information about students’ assumptions and reasoning sequences to examine how their approaches differed by academic background. The study was published online last month in the International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education under the title “Through Different Lenses: Connecting Educational Backgrounds to Fermi Problem-Solving Pathways.” The study used a Fermi problem, which requires people to make reasonable assumptions and arrive at approximate answers despite limited information. Such problems require learners to identify relevant variables, make reasonable estimates and assess whether

AI supply chain exposure splits Q3 outlook for Samsung, LG parts units

Exposure to the artificial intelligence (AI) supply chain is splitting the third-quarter earnings outlooks for LG Innotek and Samsung Electro-Mechanics. The former faces weaker earnings prospects because of its optics-heavy sales mix and sensitivity to foreign exchange fluctuations, while the latter is offsetting currency-related pressure with a growing contribution from multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and semiconductor substrates. According to market tracker FnGuide on Tuesday, brokerages’ consensus estimate for LG Innotek’s third-quarter operating profit stood at 202.9 billion won ($152 million), down 32.8 percent from 302 billion won a month earlier. The revenue forecast was also lowered to 6.1 trillion won from 6.32 trillion won over the same period. The worsening earnings outlook weighed on LG Innotek shares, which plunged 15.47 percent on Monday. The biggest factor appears to be foreign exchange fluctuations, as raw materials and inventories purchased or produced when the won was weaker are being reflected in sales at a stronger won, hurting profit margins. “The sharp de

LG Uplus app AI moves beyond Q&A to handle payments, roaming

LG Uplus is upgrading the artificial intelligence (AI) search engine in its customer app into an active agent that completes tasks rather than just answering questions, the company said Tuesday. Korea’s third-largest mobile carrier is gradually converting the AI search in U+one, its all-in-one customer app, into what it calls an “actionable AI agent.” Through U+one, subscribers can check their plans and bills, make payments and sign up for services such as roaming and add-ons. The company launched a bill payment agent in August and a roaming agent in September. The previous AI search answered queries and then sent users to the relevant app screen. The new agents analyze customers’ actual usage data, recommend services and complete payments or sign-ups once the user confirms, all within a single conversation. The bill payment agent answers questions such as “How much is my bill this month?” When a bill has changed from the previous month, it explains why by breaking down items such as roaming, add-on services, small mobile payments and device installments. Users can pay without
