Functionally speaking, the ketone testing strips from Just Fitter are capable of measuring the ketone level of the body. This measurement plays a very important role for individuals following Palio, Atkins, or ketogenic diet plans. Each pack of the product contains one hundred and twenty five ketone measurement strips capable of accurately measuring the body’s ketone level within seconds. Most importantly, this simple process can be followed easily at home.
Ketogenic diet plans are formulated based on a specific metabolic phase of the body commonly known as ketosis. Under normal circumstances, the body generates energy by burning its available carbohydrate. However, in the absence of carbs, burning the body fat is the only alternative to generate fuel. Therefore, once the ketosis phase is achieved, the body starts to lose fat at the expense of generating energy. Ketones are produced as a by product of fat burning, and its quantity within the body is a great indicator of the efficiency of a ketogenic diet plan.
The role of ketone testing strips is very important in the overall context because without knowing the ketonic stage of the body, it can be difficult for individuals to understand whether the diet is taking the body in the correct direction. Ketone testing strips are also used by many type 1 diabetes patients. However, in this case, a low ketone concentration of he body is desirable.
Rated highly for their stringent quality practices, Just Fitter has manufactured their ketone testing strips using Sodium Nitroprusside 7.1% W/W, on a PVA plastic strip. Many users have mentioned in their reviews that these strips provide accurate results when placed in the urine midstream for just a few seconds. Once the seal is opened, the strips retain their accuracy for around sixty to ninety days.
In the recently posted video testimonial for the product, the user mentioned, “These strips work great and have thoughtful positioning of color charts and plenty of shelf life. The reason I say this is because I saw that people were confusing the lot number/manufacturing date as the expiration date. I’ve used a quite a few Ketone strips and these seem to give me the most consistent and accurate results. Can’t beat the value either getting 125 quality strips for under $10 is fantastic. The bonus 25 strips were also very nice.”
