Dermatologist Mariano Busso, M.D., who has operated one of Miami, Florida’s busiest practices for the better part of three decades, has opened a West Coast counterpart in the heart of Beverly Hills, California. The board-certified specialist is best known as the architect of the “BussoLyft,” a minimally invasive procedure that involves lifting the sub-dermal facial structure — a phenomenon caused by gravity as one ages — then using a combination of filler and threading to create a more youthful, natural appearance. Threading is a fast-growing alternative to conventional facelifts whereby, instead of surgically removing the patient’s loose facial skin, the skin is lifted using temporary sutures.

Busso is a well-known leader in his field. Dermatologists the world over are visiting him to learn, firsthand, how to perform the BussoLyft as well as other cosmetic techniques and advancements. In addition, he has authored some 40 medical journal articles and/or textbooks to date. His work is so well-regarded that he was hand-selected by the FDA to sit on its advisory panel where, among other things, he helped develop national guidelines for the use of fillers. In addition, he serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

“Being facially gifted is almost requisite in the glitz and glamour of Miami and Beverly Hills, which is why these bi-coastal hotspots have become bastions for cosmetic enhancement,” says Busso. “Opening a new practice in Beverly Hills now opens the door for those on the West Coast to have access to the latest state-of-the-art procedures including the BussoLyft to reverse the signs of aging. No one wants dark circles under their eyes, pesky creases and wrinkles, and volume loss but thankfully the technology is available today to reverse those signs of aging.”

Busso also treats myriad skin conditions such as rosacea, acne scaring, acne and others.

The new office is located at 345 N Bedford Dr, suite 307 Beverly Hills, California, 90210. Contact (310) 777-1177 or drbusso.com for further information.
