Hurricanes May Help Small Business Grow, Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute Says

Nov 6, 2017

Hurricanes Harvey, Irama and Maria had devastating effects on people and businesses in Texas and Florida, but the Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute says those hurricanes may end up helping small businesses grow into better, more resilient organizations through a new free series of training masterclasses.

Gilbert, United States - November 6, 2017 /PressCable/ —

This year’s hurricanes have hurt many people, entrepreneurs and businesses. Some businesses are completely destroyed and may never recover. But Entrepreneurs get smart about how they solve problems and rebuild to make things better than before.

“Big businesses can do great things to solve this problem, but small businesses will solve it too,” says Tom Matzen, co-founder of the Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute.

For example, Alphabet and Google are big, but can often act entrepreneurially. They are launching high altitude cellular balloons and Tesla is restarting the power grid with solar, not conventional power.

The news was horrific. Hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses were hurt by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. Recovery will take months or years they say. Some of those small businesses have no insurance, and they get no easy help from FEMA. What can they do?

Tom Matzen, Frank Bria and Martin Barnes, co-founders of The Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute, are committed to do their share.

“We’ve launched the 2017 Global Entrepreneur Summit, and 100% of the net proceeds will go to help entrepreneurs and small businesses hurt by hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria,” Matzen says.

The 2017 Global Entrepreneur Summit provides important information that every entrepreneur needs to improve their business, but does not usually get. This Summit is for all entrepreneurs and small businesses, not just those hurt by hurricanes. Most small businesses do not survive more than six years. The Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute, through their Global Entrepreneur Summit, was created to help entrepreneurs survive and thrive, and make their world a better place.

Core subjects for the Summit include:

– What should a cash flow plan look like to start and grow an information business?

– How to grow a consulting business when you’ve run out of time?

– How to make the transition from work to entrepreneur – and not go broke in the process or quit too early?

– When to write a book and what should its real purpose be?

– How to build an email list for little or no money

– How to sell to corporates?

– How to build a really good retail e-commerce website?

– How to run a live event without coming across as salesy and creepy?

“A good 3-hour training program is needed for each one of these bullet points,” says Frank Bria, author of, “Scale,” the business growth book.

That’s why each of these items, and 24 others, is a three hour Masterclass, because none of them can be learned thoroughly enough in a standard one-hour interview format.

The Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute changes the existing business summit model to benefit entrepreneurs and business owners. With other summits, a lot of great ideas are thrown against the wall to see what sticks, but they are usually full of fluff and time-wasting. EEI doesn’t do “feel good” interviews or tease lectures where participants have to pay or download a lead magnet to actually learn anything.

With no fluff included, there are thirty-two three-hour Master Classes, each dedicated to a different skill that successful entrepreneurs need.

Each Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute Master Class is self-contained. It is a complete course, that contains everything needed to launch, grow, and scale a business.

There are eight different pillars of entrepreneurial life, starting with strategy and leadership, lead generation, and lead conversion, plus, building a six or seven figure business, systems, over-delivering value, and creating a better life for the owner.

The Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute listed 32 topics every entrepreneur should know, and recruited the best trainers in the subject, each of them creating a stand-alone 3-hour Master Class.

The Global Entrepreneur Summit runs over eight days, during Global Entrepreneurship Week, November 13 – 20, and is free to attend. With so much content to absorb, there is an opportunity to purchase lifetime access to recordings of the content. This makes things easier for entrepreneurs and small businesses and it is how they and the Institute can support others affected by the hurricanes.

100% of the net proceeds from the Global Entrepreneur Summit goes to help entrepreneurs hurt by hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. The non profit organization, the Entrepreneur Empowerment Institute, is running the Summit, so those funds will be put to good use.
