Lux Heirloom’s recently released shadow boxes can be given as gifts to help friends and loved ones preserve photos and keepsakes of awards ceremonies, weddings, sports competitions, and other special events. The company gives a modern update to this interior decoration staple with the option to laser-engrave the boxes with names, initials, personalized messages, or the client’s special design.
The glass shadow boxes come in three sizes - 6 x 6 x 2, 8 x 8 x 2, or 12 x 9 x 2 inches - with a sliding latch closure on the front. Clients may further customize their boxes by choosing their laser engraving’s font style. They can choose from Serena, calligraphy, or Florence font types, or they may swap out these for one of their own choosing.
The boxes are fitted with internal hooks from which to hang mementos or decorations such as chained watches, necklaces, or rosaries. However, if customers want to protect their heirlooms with a cushioned display, Lux Heirloom offers small glass boxes measuring 3.75 x 3.5 x 2 inches. The frames can be smooth or decorative, and laser engraving with custom messages or artwork is available as well.
The company also offers glass boxes for storing photo prints. These come in various styles, with black, gold, or rose gold frames and clear or textured glass. These boxes can hold up to 120 4x6-inch prints and can also be custom laser-engraved.
Lux Heirloom was founded by professional wedding photographers with over 13 years' experience. The company got its start when they decided to research different photo packaging options and present their curated solutions to clients and other photographers.
“We all know packaging can make or break a brand,” a company spokesperson said. “Prints are just pieces of paper, and digital images are just data without packaging. However, when we put the gorgeous prints in a beautiful print box or deliver the digital files in a personalized USB drive, they become a family heirloom.”
