Jan 30, 2024

United Kingdom - January 30, 2024 —

The Fondos Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of FONDOS ecosystem designed for the Web3 community. Built on principles of security, transparency, and decentralization, FONDOS provides tools and services for communities and developers to connect, collaborate, and build valuable real-world solutions.

At the core of FONDOS is the FOS Chain, an EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain focused on flexible and efficient deployment of decentralized applications. Alongside it is the FOS Wallet for multi-asset management and FOS Friends, a next-generation social platform for community engagement powered by SocialFi trends.

FONDOS also offers the FOS NFT HODL collection, containing 12 unique zodiacs themed NFTs with incentives and rewards for long-term holders. By owning FOS HODL NFTs, users can access exclusive features like minting token, priority DApp access, governance voting rights, and more.

"FONDOS was created to meet the evolving needs of builders and users in the Web3 space through an integrated suite of products, we aim to provide the infrastructure and incentives to drive blockchain adoption and real-world utility" said Founder Nathan Brook.

In addition to these technical features, FONDOS places a strong emphasis on community building and education. Through a series of webinars, workshops, and hackathons, FONDOS is committed to nurturing a knowledgeable and engaged community that can drive innovation and adoption within the ecosystem. These educational initiatives are designed to lower the barrier to entry for newcomers to the blockchain and DeFi spaces, ensuring that FONDOS remains at the forefront of the Web3 revolution.

The FOS utility token will serve as the native currency across FONDOS products for a seamless user experience. FOS will be earned through participation, platform contributions, network governance and minting rewards.

Following a strategic 12-month development roadmap, FONDOS is thrilled to begin publicly rolling out its ecosystem in Q1 2024. The launch will introduce FOS Chain test net, token listing, NFT sales, partnerships, and integrations with major DeFi protocols.

FONDOS invites all forward-thinking developers, creators, and crypto enthusiasts to join its mission of building a more open, empowered and purpose driven Web3 community.

Coming up roses? How Trump planted a new seed for Chinese gift diplomacy

Donald Trump was apparently captivated by the “beautiful” roses in the garden of the Communist Party’s leadership compound when he visited Beijing in May. It was a relaxed moment between the US and Chinese leaders – otherwise locked in disputes ranging from trade to technology and Taiwan – that led to a new opportunity for gift diplomacy between the rival powers. Strolling around the former imperial garden at Zhongnanhai with Xi Jinping, Trump was so taken with a China rose variety in bloom that...
