Follow the DJ explains that the music festival is meant for all R&B lovers who want to relax and listen to their favorite songs. Those who claim their early-bird ticket will also receive a complimentary glass of champagne from the Secret Garden Soiree Champagne Wall.
General admission tickets will begin selling on June 16th. Regardless, guests of either ticket are requested to bring their own lawn chairs and picnic blankets, as no chairs will be provided during the event, and outside food will also not be allowed.
"Support local vendors at the festival," the organizers said. "By shopping local, attendees can contribute to the growth and prosperity of the community while acquiring one-of-a-kind treasures."
The Secret Garden Soiree is a family-friendly event that will also include backyard games for adults and children, adult musical chairs, a 50/50 raffle, a beer pong tournament, and prizes for the best picnic arrangement and “don’t forget the lyrics” challenge.
Interested attendees who plan on staying in the city can find special rates at the AC Marriott Hotel Downtown Raleigh, the event's host hotel. The hotel is only minutes away from the park, making it ideal for those looking for accommodations near the venue.
The Secret Garden Soiree is a “rain-or-shine” event. According to the organizers, it will push through no matter what the weather is like on the weekend, asking guests to bring umbrellas in case of inclement weather.
A spokesperson for Follow the DJ said, "The Secret Garden Soiree Festival is back and ready to deliver The Ultimate R&B Experience to the Triangle region. With an impressive lineup of entertainment, interactive activities, delicious food, and vibrant vendors, this annual event promises an unforgettable weekend at Fred Fletcher Park on August 26th and 27th, 2023."
