Dr. John Manzella is aware of the difficult road that people with jailed parents have been on and that stress for these students is not just related to their academics. Dr. Manzella will choose one student to win one thousand dollars through creative writing. He hopes that this monetary reward will be a big help to the winner. With the rising education costs this year, this scholarship grant plays a significant role. Students may use the money for academic fees, books, or tuition. Dr. Manzella aims to give awareness about the struggles and stress faced by students with incarcerated parents and guardians. If anybody knows a student who will qualify for the grant, tell them so they can participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
