NEW YORK - February 9, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

Ena Kosmo, who by profession is involved in the green energy industry, helping to take society off fossil fuels one project at a time, has completed their new book "Quinn's Reality": the inspiration for which, originated from friendships forged during the innocence of childhood. "These friendships may not last a lifetime; however the memories are eternal," said Kosmo.

Ena writes, "Ten-year-old Quinn finds himself teetering on the verge of imminent death. He is a victim of hate, fueled by systemic ignorance and intolerance of those deemed different from the perceived normal. Even at his most vulnerable while clinging to dear life, those with hate ingrained in their hearts continuously seeks to hurt him.

Quinn's best friend, Laura, stands firmly by Quinn's side as he battles both internal and external forces seeking to send him into the afterlife. Laura and her friends embark on a harrowing journey to not only save Quinn but also "right" a few wrongs along the way.

As their collective journey progresses, they are thrust into uncharted waters where they will need to find the fortitude to push forward, ultimately discovering the truth about past events, the bonds forged by friendship, the pain of imminent loss, and the joy of new beginnings.

Will Quinn be strong enough to resist death's grasp so he can become the person that he is destined to be? Will Quinn succumb to death leaving his friends and family behind with a deep hole in their hearts?"

Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Ena Kosmo's gripping tale will bring readers along on Quinn's whirlwind ride to push through and survive his hideous circumstances.

Cybercrime ring busted over AI-powered data theft targeting hospitals, businesses

Police have busted a cybercrime ring that allegedly stole over 8 million pieces of personal information from dozens of businesses by using artificial intelligence (AI), officials said Monday. Seven suspects allegedly stole 8.2 million pieces of personal data and other internal records from over 90 entities, including hospitals, private academies and businesses, until recently from September last year, according to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. The group is suspected of using AI tools to hack 60 of the targets and attempting to extort some of them. Of the targeted entities, 38 suffered losses, with the group demanding a combined 360 million won ($272,000) from them. Police said the group's 32-year-old ring leader was referred to the prosecution on Friday while he was under physical detention. The other suspects are facing further questioning. The ringleader, a self-taught hacker, learned about hacking skills by working at a security company, where the suspect was in charge of mock hacking attacks. Authorities have recently been on alert over cybercrime suspected of employing AI tool
