Sep 20, 2022

Icarus Behavioral Health (505-305-0902), an inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol rehab in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is now working with clients across Bernalillo County with a new IOP program

Albuquerque,United States - September 20, 2022 /PressCable/ —

The center is proud to announce its suitability for drug and alcohol rehab and is now available to clients in Albuquerque and throughout Bernalillo County, New Mexico. Icarus Behavioral Health is a private treatment facility with options for both inpatient and outpatient care and a mission to provide help to anyone in the community who is suffering from substance abuse issues.

The facility’s opening specifically to clients with alcohol issues coincides with the latest figures from CDC on addiction in the community. According to their recent reports,140,000 Americans die each year from excessive alcohol consumption. Although many people feel that alcohol is an innocuous substance and that their use of it is simply casual, the CDC’s statistics show that 1 in 6 adults regularly binge drink, a habit that can shorten one’s lifespan by as much as 25 years.

Moreover, when drugs—both prescription and illegal—are taken into account, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), 4% of Americans have suffered from a drug use disorder this year, and 10% of Americans have suffered one in their lifetime.

Icarus Behavioral Health understands the severity of these figures, and they reflect that people looking for an alcohol or drug rehab in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County need more and better options for substance abuse treatment overall.

The clinic understands that it is especially difficult for clients to take the first step of opening a dialogue about their substance abuse patterns and, therefore, begin their healing journey. That’s why the rehabilitation center has a 24-hour hotline that is staffed exclusively by highly qualified and empathetic personnel.

Icarus Behavioral Health strives to create a safe, encouraging, and supportive space which is open to anyone who is looking to turn their life around. Once a patient has made the choice of confronting their substance abuse issue, Icarus Behavioral Health will help that new patient to assess the extent of their problem and ascertain a suitable course of action and treatment plan, which may involve inpatient or outpatient care, depending upon the severity of their condition. What's holding back innovation among Korean startups?

Korea’s largest fashion shopping platform Musinsa is currently under investigation by the Seoul Regional Tax Office over CEO Cho Man-ho’s alleged appropriation of corporate funds for his real estate investment spinoff firm, Lapel. The investigation, which began last month, is being led by Investigation Bureau 4. Unlike other offices that primarily handle regular tax audits, Bureau 4 is known for conducting special investigations that can begin without prior notice and, in serious cases, develop into tax offense investigations, potentially exposing the targets to criminal complaints and significant business risks. The Bureau 4 investigation began while the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) was still investigating Musinsa in a separate case, which concluded earlier this month. The antitrust watchdog looked into whether Musinsa prevented some partner brands from selling through other retail channels in order to secure exclusive sales of their products. The investigation, which began in August 2024, ended with the FTC concluding that the arrangements were part of normal business or marketing
