Acacia Dental Group, Offering Cosmetic Dentistry Canberra, Shares Facts About The Future Of Cosmetic Dentistry

November 18, 2020 - /PressAdvantage/ - Acacia Dental Group, a cosmetic dental practice based in Australia, has shared facts about the future of cosmetic dentistry.

According to Acacia Dental Group, the global cosmetic dentistry market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 2.2% in the forecast period of 2020 to 2025. The industry will be expected to reach USD 1.8 billion by 2025, from USD 16.5 billion in 2019. Cosmetic dentistry is classified based on type, or application. By type, it is classified as teeth whitening, veneers, implants, crowns, shaping, and bonding. By application, it is classified as redress or beauty.

Sirisha Yalamanchili, a spokesperson for the group, says, “Cosmetic dentistry is a need of the times where a great emphasis is placed on being presentable and confident. Having gaps, misshapen teeth, stained teeth, worn teeth, chipped teeth, broken teeth, misaligned teeth, discolorations or any other kind of abnormality can really sap a person’s confidence. We believe that the growth in the industry is driven by the awareness of cosmetic dentistry and its positive effects on people’s lives. When people are educated about the industry and are given an option to rectify any dental problems, they are more than willing to go through with the procedure to restore or boost their confidence. Those who are looking for ‘cosmetic dentistry Canberra’ on google are welcome to visit our clinic and pick a procedure that works for them.”

Acacia Dental is a privately-owned family practice that has been around since the ‘70s. In the ‘80s it moved to its home in Gadal Chambers when the building was first built and has been there ever since. While the practice has changed hands during that time, the practice claims that it hasn’t changed its ethos and has been providing high-quality family dentistry to Canberra residents for generations. They are equipped with some leading technologies, such as CEREC. CEREC has been a huge boon to the field of cosmetic dentistry.

Acacia Dental Group is run by husband/wife duo, Mallik, and Sirisha Yalamanchili. Dr. Mallik has over 20 years of dental experience. He received his Australian Dental Certification from the University of Sydney in 2006. Dr. Sirisha has over 15 years of experience. She received her Australian Dental Certification from the University of Western Australia in 2008. The Yamanchilis knew how a family practice should be run and had a vision of building a practice based on values, long-term relationships, and trust. The clinic offers cosmetic dentistry services such as CEREC, white dental fillings, inlays and onlays, crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, and veneers.

In the days before cosmetic dentistry technology like CEREC, patients would need to wait for weeks to have their dental crowns placed. The process involved two separate appointments. In the first appointment, the dentist would shape the patient’s tooth down and take an impression, which would then be sent to a lab for a dental crown to be created. The patient would then be fitted for a temporary dental crown while they waited, possibly for weeks, until their second visit, where their temporary crown would be removed and the final dental crown would be bonded to the remnants of the natural tooth. Thanks to CEREC, patients can have their dental crown placed in only one appointment. Due to CEREC, there is no more waiting around with a temporary (and more fragile) crown, or coming in for more than one visit.

When asked about the key points of their service, Dr. Shirisha says, “If you are looking for a dentist in Woden, you will never feel rushed at our practice. We are family-owned and family-focused. We do our best to make our patients feel at home. We use high-end dental equipment that provides the best treatment at the lowest cost for our patients. We’ll do everything we can to make your treatment affordable. Cost shouldn’t stand in the way of you getting the treatment you need. We understand that your time is valuable. We offer same-day treatments and never mind changing appointment times to suit our patients. Our ultimate goal is to keep your teeth and gums as healthy as possible and we will do everything we can to help you achieve that, taking time to understand you and your unique dental history.”
