Recently, 0xmusic is proud to announce the launch of its unique music NFT collection that composes infinite music pieces in real time. Imagine being the first person to ever listen to a song. Now, imagine this happens every single time people hit play. This is exactly what people get with 0xmusic. 0xmusic is a groundbreaking NFT collection comprising 777 generative music DJs (0xDJs). Each DJ can create an infinite (over 10^45) number of songs. Even if a new song was played every second, it would take billions and billions of years to cycle through a 0xDJ’s playlist.

Every time a holder touches the play button, the NFT creates a brand new song and the image comes to life with animation. The song will continue playing until the play button is touched again or the DJ moves to the next track. When this happens, the memory of the prior piece is destroyed, and a new song is created. This march of creation and destruction will continue as long as the Ethereum blockchain exists. In this sense, each piece is both eternal and ephemeral, living in a state of superposition until it is ‘observed’.
What makes 0xmusic unique is its collection of generative audiovisual DJs called 0xDJs. Each 0xDJ can create an infinite number of music pieces in real time. Additionally, what sets 0xmusic apart from the other audio based NFT collections is that every NFT creates an entirely new music track and not just a snippet of a song that repeats itself. It is akin to a piece being composed by a musician, except it is done by the algorithm, instantaneously, every time the user hits play.
Another interesting part of the NFT collection is that any of the trillions of songs that are created by the 0xDJ can be downloaded as MIDI files and enhanced/remixed by adding instruments or beats, creating a completely new song using the 0xDJs DNA and the collector’s creativity. 0xmusic aspires to usher in a new paradigm of music composition on web3.
The 0xmusic collection has been inspired by musicians, albums or other musical events etched in time, and all 0xDJs have been pre-programmed to honor these moments. On specific dates every year, all 0xDJs will play the same genre of music to celebrate these moments. Collectors holding the 0xDJ being celebrated will also receive an airdrop of an NFT custom created by 0xmusic.
About 0xmusic
The 0xmusic collection is built to last an eternity because the traits, the metadata, and all the code for the artwork are on-chain. Though the art is rendered from IPFS, if IPFS ever went down, users would still be able to reconstitute their artwork from methods exposed on the smart contract. The collection was launched on 02/02/2022 and was sold out within a minute. Since then, the collection has seen active trading on the secondary market with over $1 million in secondary sales. To purchase an 0xDJ from the secondary market, please visit the collection on Opensea.

Frank Bisignano, the commissioner of the Social Security Administration (SSA), said Monday the program will last another 90 years. “This is a long journey. It’s 90 years old. It’ll be around for another 90 years,” Bisignano said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” The SSA will release its annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) on Wednesday, after the Bureau...

Microsoft President Brad Smith says AI has fewer safety requirements than milk and washing machines, arguing in a BBC interview released Sunday that self-regulation is not "sufficient any longer." Former Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday criticized President Trump’s diesel deal with Russia, saying it “reeks of weakness.” “Donald Trump and his war in Iran are to blame for our nation's sky-high diesel and gas prices. One of Hong Kong’s oldest makers of bread and biscuits, the Garden Company, has apologised and pledged to review its crowd-management procedures after a world-record attempt involving more than 700 students making sandwiches descended into chaos. A Hong Kong court has awarded more than HK$89,000 (US$11,340) to a worker at a dog shelter who was seriously injured in a canine attack, rejecting her employer’s argument that she was a volunteer. District Judge Harold Leong Kwok-on said on Monday that the employment relationship between Kelly Animals Shelter in Lau Fau Shan and the victim had been established despite no contract being signed, noting she was paid, allocated work by staff and did not manage the business or shoulder profits or...
Oil analyst Patrick De Haan said Monday that President Trump’s deal with Russia to supply the U.S. and global markets with diesel fuel may not lower fuel prices. “On the policy front, the Trump administration’s proposed diesel deal raises more questions than it answers, and I remain skeptical that it will deliver significant relief to...

More than 42,000 travellers and 5,700 vehicles passed through the revamped Huanggang Port on Monday under a “smooth” first-day run of the new “joint clearance” system to cross between Hong Kong and mainland China, as officials braced for larger crowds over the coming long weekend. Early bird travellers and residents simply curious to see how the new system worked were the first to pass through the facility when it opened at 6.30am, with some calling the clearance process “light speed”. Many...
China is likely to view the latest US dealings with Russia as “transactional”, according to observers, who said Beijing was likely to wait and see what the longer-term impact would be given the possibility that Donald Trump might abruptly change course again. The US president announced that under a deal with Vladimir Putin, Russia would “immediately” supply more than 300,000 tonnes of diesel to the US and global markets.
