London, United Kingdom, October 16, 2026 -- New platform records early traction in logistics matching

FulfilQ.com, a global logistics directory and matching platform for ecommerce brands, retailers and enterprises, has recorded more than 50 operational fit-based connections between ecommerce brands and logistics providers within weeks of its launch in August 2026. The platform, founded by Ian Spencer, connects businesses with a vetted network of over 190 logistics providers across the UK, USA, Europe and Australia, covering third-party logistics (3PL), ecommerce fulfilment, warehousing, freight forwarding and customs clearance.

FufilQ.com

Since going live, FulfilQ has facilitated over 50 brand-to-provider connections, each based on operational fit rather than price alone. The company reports that these matches have been made across a range of sectors, from fast-growing direct-to-consumer brands to established retailers seeking to streamline their supply chains.

Matching on operational fit, not price

FulfilQ is free for brands, retailers and enterprises to use. The platform offers two routes to a match. Brands can submit a free, no-obligation request for proposal (RFP) and are only matched with providers scoring above 80 per cent operational fit, often within minutes. If no provider reaches that threshold, FulfilQ works with the brand to requalify the RFP rather than pushing a poor match.

Alternatively, brands can ask Logan, FulfilQ’s embedded AI Logistics Assistant, available on the site and via WhatsApp. Logan ranks providers by operational fit based on the brand’s real requirements, rather than by price alone.

Why operational fit matters

According to FulfilQ, choosing the wrong logistics partner is one of the most expensive mistakes a growing brand can make. The company argues that shifting the decision from “who is cheapest” to “who genuinely fits how we operate” can save brands weeks of research, sales calls and costly switching later.

“Since launching, we have made over 50 connections between brands and providers, and every one of them was based on operational fit rather than price,” said Ian Spencer, Founder of FulfilQ. “Price matters, but it is not the only factor. A provider that understands a brand’s volume profile, seasonal peaks, packaging requirements and delivery promises will almost always deliver better long-term value than the lowest quote. We are an early-stage platform and we are growing our network daily, but the principle is already proving itself.”

Free for brands, with a growing network

FulfilQ is free for brands, retailers and enterprises to use. The company says it is focused on expanding its provider network and refining its matching technology to serve more businesses across key ecommerce markets. Brands can visit fulfilq.com to submit an RFP or ask Logan for guidance.

No drug-related violations found in special crackdown on eve of Halloween

Police said Saturday they have found no drug-related violations during a joint crackdown the previous night on nightlife districts in Seoul on the eve of Halloween. Police carried out inspections at eight clubs in nightlife districts in Gangnam, Seocho and Yongsan on Friday night as part of a special drug crackdown that has been under way since August in cooperation with fire and municipality authorities. "Ahead of Halloween, we conducted crackdowns focusing on clubs, entertainment venues, and areas with high concentrations of foreigners, where large crowds are expected," a police official said. "We will continue to strengthen inspections and crackdown activities in vulnerable areas." Police urged the public to actively report drug-related crimes, saying they will guarantee the anonymity of informants and rewards will be provided.

Ruling party lawmaker issued US visa, days after refusal

Rep. Jin Sung-joon of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea said Saturday he has been issued a U.S. visa for a trip to the U.S. Pacific Command, days after he said his application was rejected. Jin, who serves as chairman of the parliamentary defense committee, said in a Facebook post that he received the visa from the U.S. Embassy in Seoul and that it was fortunate the U.S. State Department has issued the official A-2 visa, albeit belatedly. The lawmaker said he will depart Sunday afternoon and hold discussions with the U.S Pacific commander and other U.S. military leaders about strengthening bilateral security cooperation and developing a future-oriented alliance. On Wednesday, Jin had said his U.S. visa application was rejected and shared on Facebook what appeared to be a document that showed his application was refused. Jin expressed strong regret, saying the rejection was difficult to understand, given that he had visited the U.S. command in 2014 as a member of the parliamentary committee. The exact reason for the denial was unclear, but some observers note that Jin's past conviction

Korean envoy to US vows support for bilateral investment at Hyundai's Alabama plant

WASHINGTON — Korean Ambassador to the United States Kang Kyung-wha has pledged to strengthen cooperation with U.S. authorities to support bilateral investment, describing Hyundai Motor Group's latest investment in Alabama as an example of the expanding economic partnership between the two countries. Kang made the remarks Wednesday while attending a ceremony announcing Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama's plan to invest about $450 million in its Montgomery plant, according to the Korean Embassy in Washington. The ambassador highlighted Hyundai's presence in the U.S. as an "outstanding example" of how the Korea-U.S. alliance has evolved over more than seven decades, expanding beyond its security foundations into cooperation in economic security and advanced technology. AI could turn China’s social credit system into surveillance tool: government-funded study

China’s social credit system, stereotypically imagined as an all-powerful numerical scoring project for authoritarian control, has gained notoriety in the West – although people inside the country actually feel little of its presence or practical influence. In a government-funded study, however, a Chinese legal scholar warned that deploying artificial intelligence (AI) risked turning the rating system into a “large-scale surveillance tool”. The paper was published in the Journal of Sichuan...
